In today’s world, communicating online or through text messaging is much easier than communicating face to face. My reason is you can make all the faces you want and also any expression you want to do and no one will see you. When I text my husband or I email him, he doesn’t know what any of my expressions are when I’m typing it to him. Sometimes our deception of something will mean something different to someone else, so they will take it a different way then what you are thinking it will say. Expressions on faces mean a lot when you are communicating with someone. There are sometimes when my husband will call me after I texted him and say, “What’s wrong,” or “What did you mean by saying that.” I would come back and tell him how I meant. At least when someone calls you, you can tell by the tone in their voice their expressions. Typing words you can’t tell by their tone how they feel. Growing up we only had one phone and we didn’t have caller ID.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
