David Devkota Introduction to Jazz, MUS 145 Professor Jon de Lucia November 24, 2017 A Beautiful Jazz performance As the time passes, I have realized how beautiful Jazz is. I was a part of a jazz performance at 11 th street bar on Monday, November 20, and It was one is the best evening I had this year. This was a performance from 8-11 in the 11st street bar in 1 st avenue. It was a great place full of adults drinking and celebrating and as a younger guy, it was awkward. The performance was done by a certain jazz who are a part of KEYED UP!. KEYED UP! is a non-profit organization that Creates playing opportunities in neighborhood venues for Jazz professionals. I was part of 4 different performances and 2 of them were what caught my eyes. Despite staying there for only an hour, I listened to one of the best music in my life. The first song seemed like a starter as it had a low tempo. Started with a beautiful piano for 30 secs, Bass and drum followed slowly. The combination was great and very good to listen to. The song
