It is integral that I have a diverse group of professionals to work with so that I may delegate specific tasks to specialized agents. It is paramount that I have an influential or a task member with close ties to an influential who can utilize their resources to obtain the fundingnecessary to achieve our goals. Other delegation will include an agent adept at media relations, an agent adept at, or working with, grassroots organizing, an agent knowledgeable in the arena ofhealth care management and insurance, an agent capable of focusing on substance abuse and addiction treatment, an agent with access to, or a relationship with, the housing department, and agents accustomed to working with vocational rehabilitation and income maintenance services, as well as enough social workers to handle individual case management. It will also be necessaryto gain the assistance of volunteers and generate public awareness via local media outlets. Our first step involves the carrying out of a needs assessment with the assistance of a community influential(s) and community organizations to seek out and obtain proper funding sources needed to combat current gaps in, availability, accessibility, and usability of services. Wemust gather significant sources of data from demographic statistical profiles, key informants, individuals experiencing difficulties, consumers of service, and the general public.
