Unformatted text preview: DETERMINING PATIENT COVERAGE CASE STUDY 1 Determining Patient Coverage Case Study Grace Sartain HCRJ'ZOI February 25, 2018 Barbara Hopkins Discussion on the Case Study Presented Based on the case study presented, I felt somewhat comfortable with my prior knowledge on the subject matter. I have to admit there were some steps that I skipped on. I like to jump ahead sometimes without thinking through every step completely and thoroughly, I also did not know that you may not lead the provider towards a diagnosis code, even though you know that by using that code, insurance will pay for that procedure. Maj or slip ups like that could cost someone, their job and I am not an exception. That is what I am not comfortable with.
