April 4, 2017 Khashayar Khalaj, Glendon Current Events: Trump’s Travel ban The new president of United States, Trump, originally made an executive order that would ban people from seven Muslim countries to enter United States for 90 days (Trump Travel Ban). The countries included Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan and Libya. In addition, it banned refugees from entering the country for 120 days, as well as banning Syrians for an unspecified period of time ( Trump Travel Ban) . Last month, Trump signed a revised order which excluded Iraq from the list, since Iraq agreed to increase its cooperation with the US. The indefinite ban on Syrian refugees was also removed. According to the second executive order, the six countries are considered as supporters of terrorism ( Trump Travel Ban) . The issue here is that people who carried out the 9/11 attack were from Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Kyrgyzstan. However, these countries are not on the list ( Trump Travel Ban) .

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
