2 scenario and the SWOT items identified. Advantages and disadvantages of conducting a SWOT analysis on your own. Lastly, recommendations on how the SWOT analysis can be used in the final recommendation of your business plan or proposal. Community Hospital Scenario We were given a business plan scenario involving a hospital named Community Hospital. The hospital described is an independent 180 bed non-profit hospital located in Bedford. Community hospital provides services such as emergency care, acute care, medical and surgical, and rehabilitation. The hospital has a striving mission of providing high quality care thought its range of services. When preforming a SWOT analysis on the hospital both internal and external factors were considered. Our review analyzed the patient volumes, staffing, patient population and demographics, market share, payment/reimbursement types, payer type mix, community growth, competitor analysis, various technology equipment, financial summary, and potential urgent care locations. After reviewing all information available I found two perceived factors for each category of the SWOT Analysis. Strengths are internal factors and they are positive, identified as
