It is anything that takes up space and that has mass. Term: Definition: Mass noun. It is the measure of the amount of matter that an object contains. Term: Definition: Properties noun. It describes the characteristics and behavior of matter, including the changes that matter undergoes. Term: Definition: Scientific Model noun. It is a thinking device that helps you understand and explain macroscopic observation. Term: Definition: Qualitative adj. This observation is one that can be made without measurement.
