Term: exhaustible natural resources Definition: A natural resource that cannot be increased by the natural forces of the environment Term: fossil fuel Definition: A hydrocarbon deposit, such as petroleum, coal, or natural gas, derived from living matter of a previous geologic time and used for fuel. Term: hyperaccumulators Definition: a plant that absorbs toxins, such as heavy metals, to a greater concentration than that in the soil in which it is growing Term: inexhaustible natural resources Definition: Resources that are unlimited in nature and are not likely to be exhausted by human activities fall under this category. Solar radiation, air, water, precipitation (rainfall, snow fall, etc.,) and atomic power are some instances of such resources.
