Introduction
Everywhere we look, there is a clear distinction on how humanity has chosen to see life
and live life. This, it is most commonly referred as religions or worldviews. We live in a world
that has developed extensive ideas and opinions on how one should see the world and how life
should be lived. One of the major worldviews that are taking over humanity is the Christian
Worldview. This paper will give a brief description of the most important areas Christianity has
towards life. Being Christian can mean a lot of things, however, having a Christian worldview
will coincide with explanation to questions like who is God and what is he like; it will ideas of
how Christians see humanity; the significance Jesus has towards Christianity; and how Christians
find restoration to all the problems, sin, and imperfection inherited to humanity.
At last,
analyzing and reflecting on all the main areas of Christianity, will provide a clear understanding
of what a Christian worldview entails.
God
In the very beginning of the bible, Genesis chapter one, explains that God is the creator of
all living and not living things in the universe. King David in Psalms 145 gives a song of praise
to God, in which gives a profound description of what is God like. Since the beginning of the
bible and throughout the biblical history, the old testament, we see a majestic God with profound
feelings that puts beauty in everything He does.
God has many characteristics that make Him the

only perfect God. From all the characteristics that define Him, Psalms 145: 17 says: “The Lord is
righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works” (ESV). The fact that He is Righteous God
gives humanity the hope that we are looking up to a God that will not disappoint in all his Laws
and promises to his creation (Whitt, 2011).
In addition, He is merciful, loving, and kind towards
his creation. Our God created everything we know. He created the heavens and the earth. He
created sky and the seas. He created all the creatures that are extinct and those who are still
walking the surface of the earth and vast spaces in the sky. He created the molecules that come
together to form the plants and vegetables his creatures need to sustain life. He created every cell
that makes the organs, that make the human body. He is the creator of all humanity knows.
