Joan Smith & Martha Wright 2 Joan Smith & Martha Wright The object of this paper is to review and analyze the medical records of Joan Smith and Martha Wright to rule out diagnoses from test results performed while in the hospital. Joan Smith and Martha Wright were transported to the local hospital emergency room with different medical symptoms. A list of abbreviations with definitions will be included to better understand the test and their result. Joan Smith While having dinner at a local restaurant with her husband Joan Smith started feeling poorly. Joan complain of it being difficult for her to breath and her chest hurting. She became light-headed, nauseous, and very lethargic. At this point, Joan’s husband had her transported to the local hospital. Upon arrival at the emergency room (ER) Joan was observed to be experiencing severe dyspnea. While obtaining Joan’s medical history, surgical history, family history, allergies, names of any medication prescribed a physical exam was performed. It was found that there were no new symptoms noted by the doctor or new complaints by the patient. Joan continued to complain of moderate chest pain, hard to get a breath in but not short of breath. She continues to be light headed and nauseous. Her vital were found to be in the normal range.
