1. Introduction Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) includes ten separate knowledge areas, which represented as a set of concepts, terms, and activities that build a project management field (PMBOK® Guide 2013, p. 60). The significant knowledge areas are Project Integration Management (PIM) and Project Scope Management (PSM). PIM is a group of processes to ensure coordination among all parts of the project (PMBOK® Guide 2013, p. 63), and PSM is a collection of processes to ensure that the project holds all the required work in order to achieve the project objectives (PMBOK® Guide 2013, p. 105). This assignment has been divided into five parts. The first part will highlight the role, contribution, and benefits of Integration in project management (PM).
