MISSION STATEMENT AND COMPANY INTRODUCTION AccuSlug is a sports equipment business specializing in technologically advanced baseball equipment. Created with the purpose of revolutionizing the way baseball athletes train and enhance their skills, AccuSlug’s primary reason for entering into the market is to build and strengthen the talent and skill sets of professional and unprofessional athletes. Our goal is to change the way athletes train by giving them tools to incorporate into their training which will ultimately help them to monitor they our own athletic growth. What AccuSlug believes to be important is to find ways to encourage young athletes to excel beyond their own expectations and to reinforce confidence when practicing and playing games. Though there are many various types of advanced sports equipment in the market, none have yet to be formed with the technology that will enhance not only a single player, but the team as a whole. POSITIONING STATEMENT AccuSlug’s positioning statement is: For all baseball athletes, both professional and unprofessional, seeking to improve their pitching speed, batting accuracy, and athletic skill set. Accuslug is the brand of a technologically advanced, shock absorbent baseball that records speed upon throwing and distance upon impact of hitting the ball in order to equip each athlete with the ability to increase their speed and batting average. AccuSlug’s competitors are Rawlings and Stalker Sport 2. Beyond our technological advancement, Accuslug is better than our competitors due to our product not only being more advanced in recording speed, distance, and being shock absorbent, but also because we offer more affordable prices and packages for our consumers. The brand character is innovative, easy to use, fun, practical and serviceable. The position of AccuSlug compared to our competitors is that our product is of better quality with a lower price. AccuSlug is positioning itself to give top quality products with prices that will both gain profit but will beat out the competition.
