Kaylie De La O Instructor Christopher Thomas ENG 101 March 20, 2018 Short Essay of Feminism I thought that women have struggled with low wages based on what jobs they are given. Whereas women’s jobs are valueless and men are in control of the economy. As well, being a mother is not part of the capitalism. The problem of being a mother consider to be unskillful and uneducated for the capitalism, as they see it as jobless or unidentified of being powerful. The two readings that I will point out for women who has low-wage from their minor services are “Oppression” by Marilyn Frye and “My Mother Never Worked” by Bonnie Smith-Yackel. Bonnie Smith-Yackel wrote her short story about her mother who worked on the farming and housekeeping which considered invisible to the government. As well, Marilyn Frye shares one of the women’s job service are considered to be powerless due to low-wage. First, many women have struggled working on the industries due to their low-wage jobs.
