A short story by: Dalia ShaabanPoor little Rachael yet again, got blamed for another act her sister committed. She was punished. Rachael’s persuasive sister, Whitney, was snickering while the whole ordeal took place. Rachael always knew her sister never liked her, but she couldn’t figure out why. Whitney was constantly trying to get Rachael in trouble, ever since Whitney’s mother adopted Rachael when she was just an infant. The mother always believed Whitney over Rachael, so eventually she just stopped protesting and steered away from Whitney as much as she could. Years went by until Whitney’s jealousy reached its peek. The two girls were around the same age. Whitney felt a wave of emotion hit her. She looked away from her sister and continued on to her destination. Her dark hair falling in her face, hiding the emotion displayed on her features. She was sick, and sick of the depression taking over her. She had to do something about it. Shortly after she thought this, a sinister idea popped into her head, she decided to put the idea in play when she got home. For now, she’d have to endure the rest of the school day. Time pasted for Whitney and soon it was the last period, Gym. Unfortunately for her, Rachael was in this class. After all of the students changed into there appropriate attire, they all headed out to the spacious gymnasium. “Don’t look now girl, but Derek Prinz is checking you out!” Like the blundering blonde Rachael was she of course, looked straight at Derek. her sister rolled her eyes at the scene.
“Alright class!” The gym teacher’s baritone voice boomed throughout the room. “Today
