What are some of the common types of unethical behaviors in organizations? Why should leaders monitor these behaviors? What types of leaders implement ethical directives best?
Over the years companies have done many studies to determine how to make their companies run smoother and more proficient. Studies have shown that various things can dictate just how well they do operate and they call them common ethical workplace dilemmas. Things such as conducting personal business on company time, taking credit for Other’s work, and harassing behavior can cause serious rift in a company. Monitoring or dictating how the office flows can be difficult if not done properly, but this iswhere a good leader can help set things like that aside for all to reach a common goal. The product should be in the back of his/her mind, but find a way to motivate their people. In my experience getting to know the people that work for you tends to work best! Granted there are different levels of managers,but again the end game never changes. In what ways do unethical behaviors increase organizational costs? What are some of the common costs associated with unethical behavior?I chose to use Harassing Behavior as my driving point! In the military we spend millions of dollars trying
