MULTICULTURAL STUDIES ANALYSIS – 12 ANGRY MEN2The film, 12 Angry Men, starts in a courthouse with twelve men sitting in a jury box. The presiding judge issues them with instructions to reach a ruling on a court trial for first-degree murder incidence. The accused person is an eighteen-year-old young man charged with the murder of his further. The judges are convinced that the boy murdered his father. The system requires that the judges should vote towards a certain judgment. However, the eighth juror says that he needs to have a talk about the verdict. When he gives his opinions about the details of the case, the other jurors stop him and inform him that the boy is guilty of killing his father. One of the evidence used to vote the boy guilty is that the murder weapon (knife) was unique. However, the eighth judge presents his knife which resembles the one used to murder the boy’s father. The more the argument goes on, the more it is realized the some of the jurors wanted to send the boy
