Social psychology is a branch of psychology that helps to understand the behavior of an individual in a social context. It is defined as, “the scientific field that seeks to understand the nature and causes of individual behavior in social situations” (Baron, Byrne & Suls, 1989). Therefore, it happens many times that the behavior of an individual is different when he is alone and is different when he is in people. Many times his behavior is influenced by other people and that situation. It deals with thoughts, feelings, and connections and then how these psychological factors influence interactions. It includes: “self-concept, social cognition, group processes, social influence, interpersonal processes, aggression, attitudes and stereotypes” (McLeod, 2007).
