Eliminating Racism 2 When coming up with policies and strategies to eliminate racism, it is extremely vital to note that it is both attitudinal and institutional. Eliminating institutionalized racism entails a cognizant scheme of attitudinal alteration (Cooper, 2003). It is therefore prudent to incorporate both social and political transformations when eliminating racist trends of thought and action (Williams, 2004). Below are assumptions that avail a perceptive for commencing the task of eliminating racism (Williams, 2004). 1. The methodical maltreatment of an individual or a group segregates and disunites. 2. Racism is not a genetic disease and neither physical nor cultural disparities amid people causes it but are used as pretext to justify the vice. 3. Racist stances and ideas are consequent to misinformation imposed upon children via a painful progression of social habituation. 4. Misinformation is detrimental to all people.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
