It is of importance to note that not every plan the organization undertakes will be termed strategic. So all the plans of the organization should lean on the policies and actions that have a future positive impact. Some of the business actions that the organization has to ensure they are done strategically will include; expansion processes in the business, attraction of buyers and seeking of better new markets. The initial stage in the construction of a strategy should always be free from errors, otherwise the whole strategic plan will be haphazard (Khadiza Rahman, 2015). Hence, as suggested by (Fedosova, 2016) the entire process in strategic planning and development should be done in an organized path. The figure below explains a strategic planning process Inappropriate implementation of a good strategic action renders the entire plan ineffective. Appropriate implementation considers all aspects in the organization (Jost Daft, 2014). The aspects will include resources, workforce and technical guidance. In most organization, the

This is due to the poor economic and market conditions that have a great impact on the strategic plan an organization undertakes. In this article we consider a case study of British airways where we evaluate its strategic plans and capabilities. British airways It is one of the most advanced and developed airways organization in the entire word. The number of aircrafts in operation each year is almost 295 (Marques, 2017). The number of passengers carried in the year 2003 to 2004 was approximately 36,104, this shows that the company is one among the most developed in the world. Additionally, the company is one among the members of the One World alliance corporation, this serves at least 610 airports in over 135 countries. This alliance in 2004 managed to achieve a high collective profit.
