Diaz 1 Idania Diaz Professor Cochran-Yzquierdo ENG 125 1 February 2017 1. William tells himself a variety of stories to cope with his feelings. How do these stories relate to his dialogue with the taxi driver and the stories the driver tells? The Stories that William tell of himself are more like on how others are not acceptable to different cultures and classes. First when he mentions his trip to Spain and the porter wanted to assist him with his bag but William refuse, doing so insulted him by not letting the porter help do his job. Another example, the stories he tells about the discomfort that white passengers feel when passing thought security checkpoint. The White passengers feel victimized because they know they haven’t commit any crimes. Vice versa the security officer being low paid and judged by the opposite race feels like a victim of stereotypes. The taxi driver was unsure of William’s race. Later cleared up by Fekadu’s question to William. Fekadu was a jet-fighter pilot in this position he killed many innocent families. Something we wasn’t proud of. There are the attackers
