Diaz 1 Idania Diaz Professor Cochran-Yzquierdo ENG 125 15 February 2017 Lusus Questions 1. How and Why does the protagonist’s attitude toward her own situation change over the course of the story? How and why does she paradoxically became more alive and powerful after she “dies” and as she becomes more and more “invisible”? The protagonist would question her situation asking what could be done with her. At the start of the story she kept wondering why and how could this have happened to her. Once her family thought of a plan and she came to agree with them. To fake her death, gave her closure to her family. In the end, she made her own decision, by choosing how to die. While she was known to be sick by the people that knew her, she was secluded from the public. Everyone knew of her but didn’t want to approach her. She was the mystery of the family. After they fake her death, she became alive. She had freedom to roam where she wanted, not limited to her house by the yard and the forest. Nothing attached her to the dark room.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
