There might be some people who believe that traveling in foreign countries is better than traveling in their own country. However, I personally disagree with the above idea for the two subsequent reasons. First, it is costlier to travel overseas. Second, it is more stressful. To begin with, it is more expensive to travel in foreign countries. The price of a plane ticket for going abroad is more expensive compared to train or bus. Also, there are some fees when travelers exchange currency and this might be considered as an unexpected expenditure. In addition, some tourist destinations require entrance fee which is expensive. Let me introduce my personal story as an example. When I was in London last summer, I noticed that the entrance fee for the Tower of London was thirty- two pounds which was out of my budget. On top of that, they only had a 20 percent discount for the UK citizens and EU students only. Thus, I unwillingly changed my itinerary and went to another place.
