1. From whose point of view is the story told? Why is it necessary for this story to be told from this person's viewpoint? The story being told from the woman with depressions allows readers to intimately see her thoughts and feelings. 2. How reliable is the narrator at the beginning of the story? How much of the story does the reader accept as reality? As the narrator slowly becomes more and more depressed and delusional, her reliability lowers. 3. What kind of relationship does the couple have? Does the husband's occupation have any effect on how he views his wife and her illness? Because the husband is a doctor he keeps thinking there is something he can do to heal her when there isn’t. They have a very strained relationship. 4. Describe the setting of the story. What kind of room is the narrator in? What is the narrator's perception of this room? What details of the room help to provide evidence to suggest the type of room in which most of the action occurs?

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
