3/31/2018 In Practice - Excel 2016 Complete - Nordell Excel - Chapter 10 - Customizing Excel and Using OneDrive and O±ce Online SLO 10.6 Exploring Office Online Applications With your Microsoft account, you have access to applications in addition to OneDrive , Excel Online , and the other Office programs. These include Outlook.com for email, People to store your contact list, Calendar to organize your schedule, and more. Excel Survey An Excel Survey is an electronic survey that gathers responses in a worksheet and is shared by a link in an email or in an online environment. Respondents complete the survey online and submit their responses. Each response is added to the OneDrive workbook and can be tabulated using Excel Online commands. You can also download the workbook to a computer with Excel 2016 for analysis. Build a survey from your OneDrive account or from within Excel Online . You type labels and questions in a wizard-like window and save the survey as an Excel Online workbook in one of your OneDrive folders. In an Excel Survey , you can select the following response types for your questions: Text , Paragraph Text , Number , Date , Time , Yes/No , and Choice . You can also specify if a response is required. HOW TO: Create an Excel Survey 1. Log in to your OneDrive account. 2. Select the OneDrive folder in which you want to store the survey. 3. Click the New button and select Excel survey . The Edit Survey window opens in a new Excel Online workbook. From a blank Excel Online workbook, click the Insert tab and then click the Survey button [ Tables group]. 4. Click Enter a title for your survey here and type a title. 5. Click Enter a description for your survey here and type an optional description. The optional description appears below the main label in the survey. 6. Click Enter your first question here .
