Journal Day 1: Upon the arrival in the airport of Guilin, few representatives from Guilin University of Technology were ready for leading us to the host university. period. Also, we had purchase a card to make payment inside the host University. It serves like a debit card in Malaysia, functioning to purchase daily product by scanning the card. Diagram 1.3 Administration Hall for the briefing to international student While waiting the process of making the student card, a few videos were shown in the hall including introduction video for Guilin University and motivational video for adolescence to reject having unhealthy sexual life style with either same gender or different gender. From the videos, the number of homogeneous sexual event increases dramatically and it is deemed to be kind of “fashion” by some people. The major side effect of having unhealthy sexual life style is the infection of Aides virus. It is kind of un- recoverable disease at the moment and will lead to suffer in daily life. During dinner time, all the students were led by the representatives from the host University to one of the famous food streets in Guilin called “Shang shui”. The food street is located approximately 10 minutes driving distance from the host University. Public bus is available daily to travel back and forth from the mentioned food street. Miscellaneous of foods and drinks are sold in the food streets. Besides, there are various items to be sold over there such as branded shoes, casual shirts, pants, souvenir shops and etc. It is similar to the pasar malam in Malaysia. After strolling in the food street for about an hour, few of us bought different foods and shared together. Diagram 1.5 Picture for the dinner in the food street After the food hunting in the food street, we back to the host University by public bus again. We were advised to purchase the breakfast for next morning in one of the grocery shops before dismiss to avoid getting late to the venue stated for the opening ceremony. It consists of various type of foods such as breads, cup noodle, biscuits and etc.

Day 2: At about 8.30 a.m, all the students gathered in the Administration Hall for international exchange student at 6 th floor of administration block for opening ceremony.
