1.10 Chapters Organisation This paper incorporates of five chapters. Chapter 1 provides a general introduction to the background of the study. It also introduces the problem statement and the related information on particular problem addressed in the study as well as the identification of the relevant research questions. The research aim, research objectives, research scopes and research justification is presented at the preliminary part. The research design and methodology is illustrated the design component, methods and steps systematically. Chapter 2 should be referred to simply as a brief literature review or as a preliminary review because it is “in progress” rather than a completed research report. This section presents a relevant research on the Quantity Surveying education in Malaysia which gives the necessary information to understand the study. The factors influencing undergraduate students’ choice of higher education will be discussed in latter part with the analysis of the rationale evidence.
