Onboarding is the process when companies bring in their newly recruited employees. This process can be simplified in being the orientation to the company. Looking back, what is the process used at your current employer (or previous if you are not currently employed) for onboarding? My shop consists of 23 people. The onboarding process was when I was contacted by my sponsor, once it was identified I was headed to that organization. A supervisor contacted me via phone and answered all of my questions and gave me an overview of what the work consisted of. When I had finally got to the organization I first in-processed then when on a three and a half week, computer based training where each CBT goes through scenarios that I might go through as an Airman. This training ensured that I knew how to overcome certain situations. I was then embraced with the shop through introducing myself to everyone and they did the same back.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
