Nakiya Steen PHI Response Carter Chapter 7 3-30-18 Gabrielle Carter Sean Riley PHI-240 March 22, 2018 Women have been discriminated on in society since the beginning of time. It has improved a lot with all the women's rights movements that took place in the 1900's. Some things still need to be improved on I think, such as equal pay. According to contemporary moral issues book, in 2010 women got paid $.80 cents by the dollar while men got paid the full dollar for doing the same job as men. I understand that women leave the work force early and such but that should not be affecting the pay they make when they first start the workforce. If a woman does the same job as a man, then why would they not get the same pay? Because they have a family they must support? I think women should not be paid less for the same job as a man. I think everyone should get paid and treated equally in the workplace. Works Cited Contemporary and moral issues Diversity and consensus 4th edition Hinman 2016 Gabrielle Carter, I agree with you because there are a lot of women out there that can do the same job as a man and do it very well.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
