I have chosen to discuss one of my past employers for this forum post. This company has been bought and sold by several corporations over the past decade with its name constantly being changed with each purchase. It was not one particular project or team that is the example of poor systems thinking here, but rather the company's general practices toward its employees as a whole. The practice of negative reinforcements (threats of discipline, withholding of promotions, and termination of employment ) was (and still is) used as a way to motivate employees to perform well and maintain perfect attendance. This practice started from the top down and really killed the morale at the workplace for the entry level employees. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
