Part 2: Essay Universal health care is a form of health coverage which is provided by a government so that all of its citizens have access to health services. In the universal health care is a system of providing health coverage for any and all willing participants. This is usually through a government program, funded by taxes. The United States is the only developed country in the world to not have a universal health care system for its citizens. Medicaid and Medicare do not count because they target a select group of citizens. There are many pros to having Universal Health Care in the United States. If everyone in the United States were able to go to the doctor or hospital, they would be able to be treated even regardless of their financial situation. Canada is one country that has Universal Health Care. In 2017 the life expectancy for the total Canadian population is projected to be 79 years for men and 83 years for women (Canada Statistics, 2017). The life expectancy in the United States is
