Globalization vocabulary and exercises Is globalization a modern concept? Absolutely not. It is, however, a key feature of modern life and it is hard to talk about almost any aspect of life today without referring to our “global village”. This makes it hard to make a selection of globalization vocabulary- simply because it reaches into so many areas of our life. The world – not all countries are equal This is a sensitive area of vocabulary if important area of vocabulary. How do you describe the different regions of the world. Here are a few basic alternatives to get you started: Notes You should note some very useful world phrases: all around the world , all over the world , in all four corners of the world, worldwide, the other side of the world Thinking globally (and locally) Globalization is a good word, but you do need some alternatives. These options allow you to use the word “global” in different ways and thinks about different aspects of globalization.
