Response one: the Gettysburg Address Like many other forums and addresses that have been given during war, the choice in this case is very appropriate. I most appreciate the question raised on the permanency of peace founded on the basis of war. Abraham Lincoln can only be described as has been in this article, offering him his due respect and through elaborating his dedication and believe in United States. Most importantly, I enjoyed the historical lesson that pulls the audience and offers them a true meaning of being American. Your chronology of events, the ideas and questions created suspend in the mind of the reader in a way that makes me want to read further. In some way, I wish the article was longer so that I can understand the point of view and really try to understand what was in your mind at the time of the response.
