Outlines of today’s lecture Master Pages Web User Controls
Image of page 2
Master Pages Master pages are similar to web user controls in that they, too, are composed of HTML and other controls; they can be extended with the addition of events, methods, or properties. A master page is a page template that can be applied to give many web forms a consistent appearance . For example, a master page can set out a standard structure containing the header, footer, and other elements that you expect to display in multiple web forms within a web application. Master page files have the .master extension, and, just like web forms and web user controls, they support codeWbehind files. All master pages inherit from the class System.Web.UI.MasterPage.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
