It’s January and the supervisor, at the assembly line has been complaining of sudden blockages at certain stages of the four-step line, but cannot identify where the problem might lie. The ‘antenna assembly’ process has 10 machines with an average processing time of 10 hours. The ‘touchpad and screen assembly’ process has 2 machines with an average processing time of 1 hour.
