I have seen many Facebook videos of DIY speakers pop up on my news feed and always wondered if they actually worked, but have never tried them out before. It led me to wonder if DIY speakers actually work and if a bowl can really amplify the sound from a cell phone so I decided to experiment with it to see if it actually works and if it does work, how exactly it amplifies the sound, and how well it works. I am going to experiment to see if the sound is louder with the bowl as a speaker or without the bowl. I believe that the bowl will help amplify the sound and the music will be louder with it compared to without it. My dependent variable
