I meant to mention what you did about parents taking the time to educate themselves. I love that. I tell you we as parents do not have the luxury of just fumbling through this responsibility. We have to be stewards to help our youth become change agents with their behaviors. I was raised by wolves, so for me, it was really easy to see what needed to be shifted in what I was shown about being a parent. However, I do appreciate being exposed to a spectrum of social compartments (interracial marriages, LGBTs of all types, age variances in relationships, and many different SESs) I was positively affected by these experiences in the long run, but I was left to navigate my feelings about how others responded to
