Directed Study (Week 8) Matthew 19-20; Mark 10; Luke 15-18; John 11 Principle 1: Keep the Commandments. In Matthew 19:17 we read of a very simple yet powerful principle. The Savior teaches to this man, and to us, to keep the commandments if we want to have eternal life. Principle 2: Only those who are humble shall enter into the kingdom of God. In Matthew 19 we read of the well known saying “ It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” Now I don’t think that the Lord means people
