This document serves as a de ning framework for those published industry metrics. The Gartner ITBudget tool provides a structured platform to support apples to apples comparisons vs. Gartner IT Key Metrics Data Industry Measures research. Recommendations Leverage the ITBudget Tool to generate a comparison report of your IT metrics vs. published industry metrics (see gartner.com/itbudget ) on an ongoing basis (at least annually as part of the IT budgeting process, for example).
