RUNNING HEADER: UNIT 4 CASE STUDY 1 Unit 4 Case Study Southwestern College of Professional Studies Introduction Negotiations can be intimidating especially if you feel that you do not have support behind you. The creation of Unions helped decrease the intimidation and increase the voice of all employees that belong to the Union. When employees belong to a union “…employees have the right to organize and to select exclusive bargaining agents to negotiate collective agreements defining their wages, hours, and working conditions” ("Collective Bargaining", 2017). The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
