Accounting has many processes in place to make sure the numbers are accurate, such as the balance sheet needing to balance. How can you use this concept of balance to your life as a student? Is the concept of balance in our lives in the Bible? Most if not all things in life have checks and balances. If we look at Newton’s 3rd law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. I don’t believe accounting should be any different. In order for us to make money someone had to spend it, a credit to our accounts equals a debit to our employers. Applying this concept to student life I would use the assignment grading system. If we don’t submit an assignment we cannot get a grade, therefore we cannot pass the class (es) and/or earn a degree. As a student we can use the syllabus or create a checklist to assure that we have turned in all necessary assignments needed for each course, each week. Balancing our everyday lives can be a challenge and we may find ourselves asking the popular question “What would Jesus do?” to find the answer we should
