FIRST DRAFT RICKY 2 First Draft Ricky Section I: Description of the Organization The organization is an investment company in China, owned by a single individual. The organization operates in purchasing and selling out stock based on the research from the market as established by one of the employees. In total, the investment company has four employees, assigned different roles by the company owner. The employees, despite having designated roles and responsibilities, would respond to the emerging necessities as may be deemed by the owner. All the investment decisions are made by the owner, but he depends on the statistical information provided by the employees. There are two major roles played by the four employees. Two of them are charged with the responsibility of investigating and establishing the relevant and trending information about the organization’s stock and the techniques of the company, respectively. The two other employees are flexible and respond to calls and directions issued by the owner promptly. At times they act as drivers when required to, while on other occasions they meet up with clients while prospecting for more business opportunities or while advocating for sales or purchases. Every employee in the organization is fairly comfortable with their roles and responsibilities. The delegation of work and the frequency with which the employees get engaged in different capacities to imply that they do not have many things to do on a daily basis. This implies that the four employees are sufficient to fulfill the needs of the company’s owner and help in realizing the investment objectives of the organization. Despite this fact, the organization is faced with certain human resources challenges because of a mismatch of the roles or the lack of the technical skills necessary to succeed in a given position. For example, the

She also caused a problem in the company by selling stock at a wrong price other than that which had directed. Section II: Description of the Problem The structure of the investment company and the mode of operation of various activities exposes it to certain problems that inhibit its efficiency. Establishing an understanding of the organization and the people who work for those organizations is an important prospect in industrial psychology (Levy, 2009). The investment company would easily and quickly achieve an organizational efficiency if carried out an organizational strength and weakness analysis. IO aims to enhance the employee productivity and, in the process, ensure the organization achieves its main objectives. The achievement of this productivity is based on the level and well-being of the workers.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
