COST OF CONVENIENCE 2 There is no denying the fact that nowadays human resources (HR) department became an essential part of almost every company in the modern world. However, despite a huge amount of positive feedbacks, there is another point of view on this issue that deserves some words here. For instance, some individuals consider that it may cause a harmful effect on a company’s growth and development. In order to see this point clearly, this analysis is based on the Hammond’s article, Why We Hate HR (2005). To begin with, the brief summary of the main author’s arguments as well as criticisms can be listed as follows. Hammonds analyzes HR professionals and their current place in the company’s hierarchy. According to author’s observations, these people stuck in the middle of somewhere, and he does not see a proper solution for this case.
