Decrease in enzyme function (THREE THEORIES) Error theory decreases enzyme function by the RNA copying genetic information inaccurately causing impairment of cell functions. Free Radical theory causes mutations that enzymes stop breaking down, once too many mutations take over decreasing the enzymes. Program theory is when over time genes that are programmed start to die lowering the enzyme count. c. The changes in the nucleus including the stopping of cell division (1 THEORY) Program theory d.
