Location of building/housing: Christ Episcopal Church Address: 120 Church St NE, Blacksburg, VA 24060 Date visited the site: March 31, 2018 Year (or Date) built: 1875 Information on occupant (or owner): Christ Episcopal Church Identify the style: Gothic Revival Main characteristics of the style identified: (1) Muted colors (the natural color of stones) that blended with nature (2) Irregular shape (3) More decorative. However, this characteristics is not obvious in this building. (4) Steeply pitched roof. Typical Gothic revival also has decorative barge boards on the gable ends. However, this building does not have many decorations, but only steep roof.
