SUS 350 Sustainable Communities Homework Assignment #4 Due Monday of Week 9 by 11:59pm PST (75 points possible) Part 1: Communicating with Collaborators and Funding Agency Clear communication is key to implementing a successful project and gaining the trust of your funder. Compose 3 paragraphs explaining how you will communicate and coordinate with the following groups. Paragraph 1- How will you communicate within your group as you refine the rough draft into the final draft and into and through the project implementation phase? What difficulties in communication have you experienced so far? What has your group done so far to overcome these challenges? How could communication be improved in the future? Paragraph 2- How will you communicate with the groups and organizations that you collaborate with? This includes all organizations that will play a role in your project as well as any volunteers that you recruit and train. Paragraph 3- How will you communicate with the group that funds you (the Student Sustainability Initiative in this case) about the progress and results of your project. This includes developing a set of strategies that describe how you intend to communicate progress and results of your project. Here are some questions to think about in relation to the paragraphs above. Do you plan to have regular check-in meetings? Periodic written updates via email, conference calls, face to face meetings? What tools will you use to communicate your progress (e.g. timeline, budget status reports, field trips)? Who will be coordinating what aspects of the project? To help, imagine that you were giving money to someone for a project; what would you want to know and how would you want to receive this information to feel like your money is being used appropriately and the project is moving forward in a way that you desire? As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
