ECE1574 – Problem Solving for Engineers With C++ Page 1 of 1 Week 0 – Hello, C++ Programmers! INTRODUCTION Hello, world. Welcome to our class! We will use reading and exercises from the textbook, Engineering Problem Solving with C++, 3 nd Edition, by Etter and Ingber. In addition, we will draw lecture, reading material, and exercises from outside sources. We will construct some of our programs by typing code into the editor window. I will also send you code which you can open (or cut-and-paste), edit, and run. We will use part of our lab period to build, configure, and program robots using RobotC software. The lab period will also give you an opportunity to work on C++ homework assignments with help from the instructor. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
