Assignment 2.2 Cancer Settlement Recently the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) evaluated the community hazardous waste disposal site. After the evaluation the owner of the site, West Bank Chemical, has agreed to pay a lump sum payment to works that have developed one of three types of cancer or who will develop cancer within the next five years. In addition, West Bank Chemical has agreed to pay for yearly physicals for former employees with cancer for the next five years as well as paying for treatment for all former employees for a ten year period after site closure. West Bank Chemical has approached our facility and has offered a lump sum cash payment to render these services. However, before agreeing to this pay out, certain factors must be considered. Firstly, the total number of employees and well as the number of employees that currently have cancer must be known. This will allow for the calculation point prevalence rate. Point
