DYNAMIC PRICING 3 Opportunity or Temptation? Case Analysis Report The Hope Community Church is a non-denominational community church situated in Southern Colorado. The church was built in the 1900s and it had been facing many remodeling as the church’s structure continued to deplete. The Building committee from the church was continuously looking for a new solution, as to finding a new facility, or suitable location to rebuild a more suitable and stabled sanctuary where they can perform their services. As HCC has a steady growth, the church had a lot of turnovers from new prospective as the church became too small to hold its current capacity. The leaders of the church want to relocate as they believe it was the right solution; however, there was an emotional attachment to the old sanctuary from elder members and they were reluctant to relocate creating more controversy and delays in finalizing the decision with a vote, as it was needed. Identification of Problems Key problems: o The Hope Community Church (HCC) was small for the steady growth and too old to hold itself without the need to invest vastly o There was a conflict of interest between the oldest members of the church and followers and the leadership committee of the church affecting the decision process o The building committee seemed to lack sufficient knowledge and resources to seek for other solutions o Capacity and structural integrity of the church building o New acquisition and the hidden costs of unknown nature o Lack of space to conduct Sunday schools and meetings Secondary problems:
