A change of behavior or belief in order to fit in with a group. If you happen to stand out, then you will not be accepted within the crowd. This tends to happen with younger people but more with students in school. To the point of how you look, talk and what expensive items you tend to have. Now there is more of showing off with social media of everything that you do and don’t to fit in with a crowd that’s why adolescents tend to conform. Within social institutions there are some schools that wear uniforms for elementary to middle school. When these students leave and enter high school they are now able to wear what they want. With that it causes social conformity with them in those stages then when they get older it can cause creates social deviance. They go from wearing the same outfit at school every single day to going to high school where they can express their personal identity that they were unable
