My sex education experience was interesting to say the least. In eighth grade, is when my school had us go through sex education class. We had the class everyday for one hour for one month. You know how in mean girls, they say “Don’t have sex, because you will get chlamydia and die?” Well that sort of sums up how my sex education class was. They told us a lot that we should just not have sex until we are married. The educators kept pushing us towards abstinence. Once we reached high school however, we got a lot of mixed signals from everyone. If you were a girl and you had sex, you were a slut. If you were a girl and wouldn’t have sex, you were a tease/prude. If you were a boy and had sex, you were praised. If you were a boy and hadn’t had
